Samal Classes was conceptualised in 2022 by Mr. Saroja Kanta Samal (B.Tech, M.Tech) and Mrs. Ritupurna Samal (M.A, M.Phil, MBA), a young educationist couple with one conviction: a coaching centre is only as good as the teachers in its classrooms.
We started with one campus, a single batch of 36 students, and the simple promise that every student would be taught by a permanent subject expert, not a rotating cast of visiting tutors. The second batch had 51 students. The first batch sat for boards in 2024 and recorded a 100% pass rate, with 15 of 19 students earning first division. The 2025 batch carried that forward, with 18 of 24 in first division and our top scorer Soumyashree at 503.
Only the hottest furnace produces the finest steel. Similarly the intense academic fire and disciplined environment of Samal Classes will produce the finest +2 Science students.
Today we run two campuses, Kendrapara at Tinimuhani and Mangalpur at Madhupur, both offering day-cum-residential coaching with in-campus hostels for boys and girls. CCTV covers the full campus, twenty-four hours.

We have stayed deliberately small. Limited seats. Permanent teachers. Disciplined academics. We do not believe in batches of two hundred where students are numbers on a register. We believe every child deserves to be known by name.
Beyond academics, the campuses are full of life, Saraswati Puja celebrations, parent meets, doubt-clearing evenings. The aim is a place where students do not just prepare for boards, they grow up.
